At Casas en Valladolid, we believe in full transparency. Here you can meet our team and verify each of our professional certifications.
Only approximately 400 out of 5,000 real estate agents in Yucatán hold an official license. We are part of that group.
Casas en Valladolid also uses a PROFECO registered adhesion contract model for real estate transactions. Before signing, ask for the contract registration number printed on the agreement and verify it in the PROFECO Public Registry of Adhesion Contracts (RPCA).

Certifying Organizations
INSEJUPY — Instituto de Seguridad Jurídica Patrimonial de Yucatán
Since May 2025, all real estate agents in Yucatán must be registered with INSEJUPY. Our Tipo A license is the highest level of state certification.
The public INSEJUPY registry is still being rolled out and may require internal access. Until public search works reliably, ask to see the current Tipo A license and match it to the advisor's legal name.
A.M.P.I. — Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals

We are active members of Mexico's national association of real estate professionals. Members follow a strict code of ethics and ongoing education requirements.
A.M.P.I. National → · A.M.P.I. Mérida →
NAR — National Association of Realtors (USA)
A.M.P.I. maintains a strategic partnership with the National Association of Realtors in the United States. As A.M.P.I. members, we have access to NAR's global network — the largest real estate association in the world.
CONOCER — National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies
Federal certification validating professional competency in real estate brokerage.
PROFECO — Federal Consumer Protection Office
PROFECO manages the Public Registry of Adhesion Contracts (RPCA). A registered adhesion contract is a contract model reviewed by PROFECO to help prevent abusive or inequitable clauses. For any transaction, ask for the contract registration number printed on the agreement and verify it in RPCA before signing.
Why Credentials Matter
In Mexico, anyone can call themselves a real estate agent. But only certified agents have:
- Verifiable training in real estate law, tax, and notarial procedures
- Legal accountability to regulatory bodies
- Mandatory code of ethics
- Continuing education requirements
Before working with any real estate agent in Yucatán, ask to see their INSEJUPY license. If they don't have one, think twice.
